Hello Everyone
I hope the weather is as glorious where you are as it is in Bedford UK

Here is my entry for challenge 16# http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/

The background paper is from Basic Grey Wisteria and the edging is black lace from stash.

I used a sheet from Making Memories spiral journaling book and stamped my favourite Sarah Kay image onto cream card. The image is coloured with Pro Marker pens and I printed the sentiment on the computer.

Thanks for popping in. Have a great day

Margaret

Monogram card

Hi everyone

Another week has gone by and time for another Pink Elephant Challenge this week it is number #15. As the subject was fairly open I decided it was time to go through my mountain of stash , but came up with this simple idea.

A piece of white A5 card folded into 3, the papers are basic grey Porcelain , an American Crafts felt detail and letter a put onto a large brad and pushed through the centre The sentiment is a Pebbles rub on.
Have a good day M.

Hi everyone,

Yes I'm still around. For those of you who don't know me, I have been out of circulation for a while having a new hip. All has gone very well but it has taken until now to get my creative skills going again. What better start than a card for this weeks Pink Elephant Challenge #14

This is a Magenta stamp 'clematis vine' coloured with china blue and olive green pro markers, the white card punched border at the top is Fiskars effervesence threaded with royal blue ribbon, jewels from stash and sentiment printed on computer.

Thank you for looking in today. M

Hi Everyone

I have been very quiet on here this week. The weather has been so beautiful in Bedford that I had to tear myself away from the computer and go out. Any way here is my entry for the Pink Elephant 6# challenge http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/

hope you are all well out there and enjoying nice weather too

Pink Elephant Challenge #5

Hi Everyone

When my basic grey order of Porcelain papers arrived yesterday the instantly shouted http://thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com/All papers basic Grey Porcelain. The centre piece cut on cuttlebug using nestie frame and edged with dark brown cats eye.
I then stamped Judi Kins paper lace butterfly 3 times using Adirondak espresso. 1st one onto centre piece (tip from Carol) then you don't have to cut round antennae and the other 2 cut to layer and I only stuck them down by the body. Used a silverstar gelly roll pen on the stripes of the body (doesn't show up on photo) bling top left corner and silky flower and leaf with sugared brad from stash and the sentiment is dark brown pebbles rub on.

As this weeks Pink Elephant Challenge is either a card or project I have chosen to enter a book I made to hold the greetings cards I send during the year. All the papers are crate papers and the tags on each pocket inside are cut on the cricut. All ribbons and fibres from stash.

Thursday 5 March 2009

My reason for starting a blog was so that I can enter challenges. That has been a challenge in itself. I made this card for the Pink Elephant challenge last week - no blog couldn't enter so I thought I would share this with you as my reason for joining the blogging world.
